January 11th-14

January goals:
I can write my name. You can help at home by having your child write their first and last name and tell you the letters they write.

I can identify the numbers 0-5. Go on a number hunt around the house to find different numbers.

I can count to 15. Have the student find 15 items around the house and place them in a basket and then have them put them back where they found them at the end.

This week in small group we will be:

• Drawing self portraits to teach body awareness.
• Matching uppercase letters to lower case letter using tubes and colored dots for alphabet knowledge.
• Playing Domino Parking game to learn how to count one-to-one corrospondence and matching the number of dots to the written number.
• Noodle, bead and playdough fun to teach fine motor skills, planning and speaking skills as they work with the materials.
